WE NEED 40 MILLION DOLLARS
For many years we regularly travel the country creating capital campaign fundraising videos for YMCA’s, library’s and other nonprofits. Each one was unique and nearly every one we did reached the fundraising goal ranging from 5 to 15 million dollars. One day we got a call from Oklahoma State University. They were renovating the historic Student Union building from and needed to raise 40 million. We had a lot of experience in this area but this was a big ask. We filmed the video based on our experience with large organizations, starting with a brief history of the Union, and what it meant to students and alumni. Then we built a case study on why this historic building needed to be renovated. Priorities of the renovation included, addressing the aging infrastructure, improving and enhancing student spaces, addressing traffic flow, updating meeting rooms and offices and maintaining the building’s legacy. The campaign was a success!
